When does it begin? My early memories are about making things - drawings, doll clothes, colouring outside the lines. I’m also formed by the days I spent exploring the ravines of my home town. Wandering for hours bathed by the filtered light through the thick leaf canopy. Does it explain why I now spend my days making art exploring the marvelous shapes of plants and the colours dwelling within them?

It’s also part of a conscious decision of the way I want to live. My prints and textiles document my surroundings, capturing moments in plants’ lives. Repurposed textiles and natural dyes and inks as well are major tools of my artmaking.
